Guardianship & Pastoral Care of International Students

nzenjoy offers a guardianship and pastoral care service to those wishing to come to New Zealand to further their studies. We will assist students with immigration formalities such as student permits and visas. We will assist with finding homestay and other types of accommodation as well as assisting with enrolment at some first class universities, high schools and English language schools. We will also assist with the purchasing of school uniforms, if required, and will also help with setting up banking facilities, medical insurance, mobile phones, internet and any other services that may be required. Paramount to providing a safe and friendly environment is our commitment to communicating on a very regular basis with students and their families, education providers and accommodation providers to ensure that service of the highest standard is delivered.

nzenjoy Pastoral Care Management System

nzenjoy Limited is committed to delivering a pastoral care system that focuses on ensuring the care and management of international students is dealt with sensitively, confidentially and in a professional manner. We will work as an independent agent, communicating regularly with parents, students, educational institutions and accommodation providers to ensure that the ongoing obligations and interests of all parties are met in accordance with the Ministry of Education document – The Code of Practice for the Pastoral Care of International Students. We will also assist the student with all documentation and legal requirements and explain in students’ native languages to ensure that there is no misinterpretation of any required formalities. We have nzenjoy staff who are fluent in Chinese, Japanese, Korean, Portuguese and Spanish languages. We also offer official guardianship to students on behalf of educational institutions if this is a requirement of the institution or requested by the student’s parents.

Our office is situated at QE11 Park Stadium and as part of our business we offer individual and team based training programmes. We have formed associations with many of the sporting codes and academies based at QE11 and can design sports development and fitness programmes to suit all levels of sport.    

nzenjoy will deliver the following management system:

• A dedicated Pastoral Care Manager

• Police vetting of all accommodation providers
• An ongoing meeting schedule with the student, the institution and the accommodation provider
• Feedback sheets distributed to students, institutions and accommodation providers after each meeting (to be returned and kept on file)
• Regular communication with the student’s parents
• Arrangement of all customs, immigration and visa documentation as required
• Provide translation services as required
• Arrange all banking requirements
• Arrange all insurance requirements
• Organise mobile phone/internet options
• Arrange membership with sporting clubs, cultural and recreational activity organisations
• Design individual and team based training programmes and provide ongoing professional training

• During the year nzenjoy will host students at a dinner function at a local restaurant
